Wow! I can't believe in only month I'll be stepping onto a plane for South Africa for nine months! I am sorry it's been so long since I've blogged. Life has been a little crazy lately. As I look back on this last month I belive I have grown and learned more in this one month then in a long time. God has become so real to me.

   What I wanted to share with all of you is a message of hope. God has been teaching me that He is a good God. Yeah, seems pretty simple, but it's hard for us to learn and really belive. God's been speaking to me about His healing and His divine power. Power that heals the sick, raises the dead back to life, breaks the bondage of sin, and that sets the captives free. It didn't just happen when He walked the earth it is happening now. I belive God wants to bless us if we would only simply ask and seek Him. I just started to read through the gospels and was completely blown away by the beatitudes in Matthew 5.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

 Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

  Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

  Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteouness

for they will be filled.

 Blessed are the merciful,

for they will be shown mercy.

  Blessed are the pure in heart,

for they will see God.

  Blessed are the peacemakers

for they will be called sons of God.

  Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." -Mat 5:3-10

God says if our hearts are pure we WILL see God. That if we hunger and thirst for righteouness that we WILL be filled. He calls us blessed. He wants to bless us. He says in Pslams- "ask and I'll give the nations to you." We need only to ASK and BELIEVE that He will.

This summer God showed me my prayer life wasn't much. God showed me I was praying, but was not really having faith that He would answer them. Oh, the power in the name of Jesus. Plug into that power. God has it waiting for us, we only need to plug it in- the Holy Spririt will do the work.

Pray and have faith!

And watch God move like never before!
